The workshop sets a confidential space where the reflection will happen among the producers themselves, with the support of a facilitator.
Key-skills, professional development, fair collaborations, multitasking, balance professional/private, sustainability are some of the topics that will be discussed. The workshop aims at opening up a discussion among producers to share visions, challenges and opportunities about the role, the position, and the responsibilities of the producer within his/her environment in a changing context.
The discussion is based on concrete issues brought by participants allowing the sharing of practices, a broader understanding of the different contexts and a reflection over one’s own professional position. The facilitation includes guidance for the exchanges and proposals of different practical and theoretical tools.
Open to experienced producers working mainly with artists in the independent performing arts field.
Requirements: 3 years of experience as a producer. The chosen pedagogy allows very experienced producers to attend and benefit from the workshop.
The workshop is held in English.
